Description:
Built on the 332 hull, this boat gave two full staterooms and two full baths with showers in each. It suffered competition from it's own "cousins", the 350 and the 381 Chris Craft Catalinas.
According to Jim Wick a former Chris Craft employee and active Commander Club
member: Nice boat! Only 20 were made in 1984. The next year they were dropped because CC
acquired Uniflight and there was a 36' DC along with the 35 DC and the 38' and 42 and
so on. The 337 was not a money maker as it was priced below the 35' and had very much
the same accommodations. And big engines fit into the 33' while they did not in the 35 or
36.
Only one problem with this model. It was nose heavy. At rest, frying eggs might be a little
frustrating. Otherwise, you won't notice.
