1969 31’ Commander in Connecticut
Hi Group,
I have a beautiful boat that I must let go; I'm 73 and just can't keep up w/the maintenance. The hull is what you expect; heavily layered fiberglass in excellent condition. I installed a windlass w/a pulpit off a 28' Phoenix, had some beautiful teak wood work done around windows and door to cabin. Engines run, but need manifolds and risers. Port transmission needs rebuild/replace. 3 good batteries; house bank and starting. She is currently in a boat yard in Greenwich, CT., and must be gone by June 15. She is the perfect project for you if you have the time, money and motivation. She has been recently rewired throughout. Asking $5,000. All offers considered.
Photos to follow as soon as I figure out how to upload my album to this post.

Oh man so sorry... I know time will come and that will be to pass on the vessel .....that is how I got mine the gentleman had a debilitating health issue and had to get rid of it... it was his baby it has every up grade on it for that time... has 2 350 crusaders..... it is sitting on a trl in our boat shed the trl cost more than the vessel.... I went and cranked them up the other day... man I love the sound of them... before it goes in the water all of the packing will be replaced on every shaft and the fluid will be replaces in ......dang forgot what they are what the drive shaft hooks to.. got to find out what fluid goes in them .. 336 commander.. i preasure washed it a while back... man she looked good....
But while im here the previous owner I think took off the original trim tabs... I thknk.... the ones that are on it is about 4 ft long.. and 1 ft wide...... but the wood pieces are wedge shaped wood behind them I understand why ... having a BA in mechanical engineering.... but I was thinking of having them remade in aluminum..... or do they really have to have them since the vessel is under cut in the middle .... being their about 1/2 inch in the middle of the vessel and goes to nothing on the out sides if the vessel.. .. im going to remake out of aluminum and the trim tabs.. were eat all to pieces .....i have a couple of sheets of 1/8 stainless steel just wondering... thanks....
