Hi Commander fans,

My name is Jos and I have recently become the proud owner of a Chris Craft 42 Sports Commander. As far as I know, this is the only one in Europe. She is currently still in Finland, and this summer I will be sailing her to her new home port in the Netherlands. It should be a wonderful trip across the Baltic Sea, passing through the Finnish and Swedish archipelagos, via Denmark and Germany.

The hull is still impressively solid and she is powered by 2001 Volvo Pentas, which provides an excellent starting point for the refit I will be undertaking over the coming years. I have already picked up many useful tips from this platform, so thank you for that!

For now, I have one question: does anyone know if the glass used in this boat is tempered glass or standard float glass?
