I'm considering downsizing as the years catch up with me. I've owned this Commander since 2012, and it's been a boat I've taken pride in. It's a unique example, and I'd like to see it go to someone who will appreciate and care for it as much as I have.

This Commander was extensively repowered in 2007 with:

• Crusader 496HO fuel-injected engines / New ZF transmissions

• New shafts

• Digital Dash

• Sync and Cruise

• ~115 Hours on the repower

Also in 2007, the boat was professionally painted with Awlgrip in white with dark blue trim. The finish still presents very well. I've never waxed it.

Notable Features and Updates

One of the rarest features on this boat is a set of Naiad hydraulic stabilizers. To my knowledge, only one other Commander 410 was equipped with them. They virtually eliminate the "tippy" roll these boats are known for and make a remarkable difference underway.

• Factory-installed washer and dryer (very uncommon for a 1973 Commander and both work)

• Vacuflush system

• Generator

• New Battery charger

• Stainless drawer style refrigerator

• Newer Ice maker

• Replaced Waste holding tank

• Garmin chart plotter/fish finder

• Replaced shore power electrical inlets

• Rebuilt 120v system

• Rebuilt city water system

• Rebuilt steering system

• Newer canvas - back deck has a solid set and a set with new isinglass

This is a very nice boat—not a museum piece, but an honest, well-maintained Commander with significant upgrades that would be difficult and expensive to duplicate today. It's in the water and ready to take home.
