1967 Chris-Craft Commander 31 — FREE to a new owner

Due to health reasons I am no longer able to continue the restoration. I would like to see her go to someone who can finish her and enjoy her.

Important Disclosure — Engines

Both 327F engines were recently rebuilt; however, in the last few weeks, after taking a closer look at the engines and the work that was done, I have very little confidence in the quality of the rebuilds.

Because of that, I am not representing either engine as reliable. A new owner should assume that both engines will need to be inspected by a mechanic and may require additional work.

The Boat

• 1967 Chris-Craft Commander

• 31' fiberglass hull

• Twin 327F inboard engines — both rebuilt, but quality of rebuilds is in doubt

• Hardtop

• Chart plotter

• Marine radio

• Extensive restoration of the teak and mahogany completed during my ownership

• Numerous components and systems repaired, rebuilt, replaced or upgraded

  
  

This is not an abandoned or stripped project boat. Much of the boat has already received substantial attention.

The principal reasons I am offering her free is my health and my lack of confidence in the engine rebuilds. I cannot represent the boat as mechanically sound.

The boat is offered as-is, with no warranties.

The new owner will be responsible for transportation. The boat is currently in the water - a travel lift is available to load her onto a boat transporters trailer at no expense to the new owner.
