Seems Dick Morland addressed this by opting for the Vacuflush option, I might be mistaken. I believe vacuflush lets you have a remote tank. I also had a friend with an incineration system.

From the cheap seats: I've not seen but heard of a truck heater core and fan spliced into the hot discharge side of an open system. I'd guess easier for a closed system.

Years ago I evaluated and approved suppliers to a manufacturer. On a particular trip two suppliers of micromixed vitamin/mineral additives were on the schedule for inspection. The first provided an evaluation list of equipment, the testing to limit equipment to test and the result of testing. The selected equipment was installed the process evaluated for compliance to expected tolerance and presented for approval as a certified supplier. The second supplier presented the facility and said "We know what they did and built the same." I didn't approve the second, not because of the process but because of the, knowledge base. The first company will notice that minor event, that little tick of an error because of ingrained due diligence. Will there be a major difference between these suppliers? Only if a problem occurs, which would you expect to prevent entry to market?

You might need to add another shore power inlet, the 35s came with a generator double the amperage of the shore power inlet.

Several of the 35 owners installed stand alone ac/electric heaters years ago. If you search "marine air conditioners you will find an afternoons education and list of questions for the electrician.

I can't find the posts but there have been 2 or 3 at least. I believe Clyde Caron had one for his 31. I think the trick is to get good contact support fore to aft both outside the shafts and inside. Good luck

Safety proceeded with the calendar and the invented pump was replaced with one that vents diaphragm failure to the carb intake. Personal experience, a failed diaphragm filling the bilge with gasoline vapor increases the circulation. The newer pump will bolt up or you can do the Tim Toth modification, it's discussed and described on this site as are most questions although the site move may have made some searches difficult. Access to the files will fill several evenings with interest and education. Amazing what you find when you look!

Hap, that is anchor and steaming light, the back shade is steaming, down is anchor. That is what the little brass knob is for, twist it to let the shade down. take a look at mine in the Rendezvous pictures 2005 Lake Michigan

On another site a contributor claimed success converting to ammonia gas. This is well researched and I'm sure much information is available but probably little for this application.

Any reason to doubt the gauge? Did you fill or someone else? A previous dock neighbor had a passenger fill, the passenger as ignorant of boats as the owner was of being a captain proceeded to fill the black tank. The story evolves, but convinced me to observe anyone fueling the boat.

I know of one of each designation, one being PMS an '84 version and one in our harbor that sports the Commander badge. Both were fitted with a fly bridge and a cursory inspection would not find a difference without entering the bilge. The newer unbadged model has more headroom in the bilge and a center queen in the aft cabin rather than two singles. There may have been other differences but the obvious one is, one has a badge and one doesn't!
