Replacement Distributor
Thinking about replacing my Prestolite Distributors on early 80's CC454s. Advance springs are NLA and not getting any younger. There seem to be a lot of options out there (Pertronix, GM Delco Voyager, DUI, etc.). Any recommendations?

I have installed Pertronix flame thrower ignitor II distributors in 2 different boats with 454's. easy installation and good quality one boat had Mallory's and the other had Delco voyagers that module (one was dead & the other wouldn't advance) failures. Both boats ran dependably and seemed to have better power after installing the pertronix distributors. If you get pertronix make sure to buy the correct coils to go with them!
