My boat didn’t originally come with them. I’m looking to add a set of Perko for all the benefits of having them after rebuilding these motors. That said, I’ve researched and found out that they should be below the static water line. I was wondering if anyone here has added them to their 31 and where exactly they located them. If so, are you happy with their location? Would you move them to another if you had it to do over again? The only spot I can see mounting them is on the bulkhead directly in front of the motor which further congests and very tight space and will make point of access undesirable. Problem with the other locations that are easier access puts them above the static water line or makes the hose run longer than recommended.
