Struggling to find insurance
Just purchased a 1975 41' Commander and have to take it out of the marina on day 1. I wont be able to dock it without liability. All of the insurers I have spoke with require a hull inspection which would have to take place at a marina... I am picking it up in MA and taking it down to GA Does anyone know an insurer for liability only with no hull inspection? I know this has been stated, but I'll second or third State Farm. I went through quite a few hoops a year and a half ago when I bought my 1971 35 Sports Cruiser. They were the only one that didn't need an inspection or would insure a boat that old.
