1967 CC Commander - Fiberglass Issue
Our 27' Commander has a fiberglass crack on the starboard side of cockpit near the side step. It is likely to have occured when the boat was hoisted out of the water. Am I facing a major structural issue or is it likely superficial? Thanks

As someone who does fiberglass work professionally, the shape of the cracks you have are rather specific. The resolution of your photo apears low on my end but my first thought is it looks a lot like a past repair atempt that was not properly blended. Perhaps a past owner had an access panel there at one time and then decided to do away with it .
can you provide some more detailed photos of that area and if possible a picture of the back side of that area.
Being that its just a cockpit liner , it should have zero impact on the hull structure. That said it would be nice to learn what happened and definitely get it fixed properly .
