36' Sports Cruiser specific questions
I'm continuing to shake down my new 36' Sports Cruiser and have a lot of questions. Mostly it is around the motors and the trim.
If you have a 36 Sports Cruiser (or had one in the past), what have you done about trim tabs?
kept the original tabs and used them to effectively plane the boat
added larger aftermarket tabs accross the back to create more trim
What is the secret to planing in this boat? Power? Trim?
What motors are you running?
Are they the original Marine Power 454 engines? What kind of perfomance are you getting?
Have you repowered/What did you learn/gain in the repower?
Props?
Do you know the size and pitch of your props?
Have you repitched them or changed props?
Are you considering changing pitch?
