outboards??
Hello Everyone!! I'm thinking about removing the inboards on a 1983 26 ft commander and putting outboards on...add gas tanks for more range....has anyone ever done this? or is the platform/Hull not conducive to this type of setup?

At a minimum you would have to do major strengthening of the transom itself, and its connection to the sides and bottom.
