The Annual Commander Club Rendezvous
It's been almost 10 years since I last posted to this website. Everything came back to me when I attended this year's Commander Club Rendezvous in Huron Ohio.
For me, and for those who don't know me, the event was as close to a religious experience I can express in words. Meeting Charlene Pike in Person? The freshwater condition of the boats on display? Brought tears of joy to my eyes.
A bigger surprise was to see 3 models I have previously owned on display. Including a 28' Wooden Connie! The woodies and the Roamer were a delightful addition! Why didn't anyone show up with a classic 31?
To see a 1972 41 Commander Motor Yacht there brought back incredibly wonderful memories. I am sure that somewhere on this website detail the updates I made to a 1979 41 Commander I owned up until 2015.
I never had a bad moment with a Chris Craft Commander. They are a labor of love ...Not to mention the nicest people on the planet!
My most sincere Thank You!

I agree. Very surprising not to see any 31's. But, what a delight seeing all those beautiful 42's.🙂
