These were used mostly on the helms of CC boats that had the TCS system. My thoughts are as follows:
Keep watching ebay or various sites where someone has removed their helm. These origninally had some switches in them for something so I don/t know if you will gain anything.
Make one out of 1/4" black starboard and rout the edges. Won't be exacly the same but it works. Prior to having a whole new helm built by New Wire I made one from Starboard and it worked for a few years until I was ready to take the plunge. Most original items on the dash were not working or had be replaced.
Maybe someone with a 3D printer can make one for you.
Take the plunge and start a complete refurb with New Wire. It's no small task but in the end if you keep the boat it is worth every penny.
