Stewart Warner Bezels

Hello All,

Does anyone know if the bezels on Stewart Warner gauges are available and replaceable? The set of gauges on "Buckaroo" (1968 - 47' Commander)

are all working fine, it's just that the bezels are in rough shape and need attention. I will determine if the bezels are rolled, crimped or threaded, but before I tear into the consul, I was trying to see if replacements were available. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks Schaefer, you're correct about new ones being less expensive than refurbishing the originals. Some of the guys have suggested some reputable shops to have them reconditioned, and from what I can gather, each reworked gauge will run around double what a new one would cost from Stewart Warner.

I've yet to dive in behind the console to start working on the project, but I'm going to assume they are wired into the original 32 volt system. Is that the case on your Commander, and if so, did Stuart Warner provide the proper gauges with that voltage present?

Thanks in advance for any information.
