General Discussion

Good morning everyone. I'm in the process of trying to move a 1979 41 foot commander from Suwannee Florida to northern Alabama. The flybridge instrument panel and railing, etc have been removed. The wheelhouse hardtop remains. The mover has a hydraulic trailer and can get the boat within one foot of the road. Can anyone give me an accurate measure of lowest keel point to the top of the hard top? Anyone have experience moving this particular model of Commander?

I'm getting mixed information from potential movers regarding the necessity of hardtop removal and windshield removal. Of course I would rather not but I don't want the movers to show up and have to do it on the spot.
