Hello again
Hello, just a general question.... we have a 336 commander.. if any of you knew Robert Gulion, the "morning star," he was from New York, but he lived in tampa when he posted his baby...it is nice for an 87... but it has two crusader 454's i haven't worked on it in a while but getting ready for the water when phyllis retires.... "around how many hrs is a crusader 454 normally good for" they both run.. one was a little stiff when we picked her up.. but i got it going.. and two carburetor kits... now the genset he said it had been frozen up for over 9 yrs... after a few weeks I got it turning over and put gas down the carb and it runs now... and rings are still good... was afraid the rings would be gone after sitting that long... it has sat on the trl since we brought it home... few yrs now... had the trl built for the commander.. in the next few days im going to go and fire them up again... and go over everything.. and the bath/shower.. she was set up for the open water and the waste is set up for it to go in the ocean... the toilet was like an RV .. gravity fed... I pulled it out shower floor is busted.. so have to fix it... but we live in hot springs arkansas so either get a bucket or a black water tank... the engine compartment is tight... im 60 an 6'4 and 240 lbs.. it is tight.. have no idea where to even put a black water tank at maybe where the genset muffler was had a big round muffler never seen one like that.. but anyway... just wondering about the hrs for a crusader 454...thx.. charles..... wow just going over the two packets he saved everything every piece of paper to everything he built.. but i thank him for that.. but just found this....and it has the entire wiring diagram.. ive forgotten about these
