Need Supplier For 427 Engine Camshaft
Please does anyone know where I can buy a new camshaft for a 427 engine? Looking for original/equivalent Chris Craft part. New not used. LH rotatiopn, 1969 engine. Existing aftermarket cam has worn down lobe. Thanks.

You should be able to find an NOS standard rotation marine cam. They are much more abundant than reverse rotation.
If you can't find one, they were pretty much the same as the 390 PI cam, which most cam manufacturers offer something similar.
I suspect you may have a lifter bore out of round. These days oil and cam/lifter quality get blamed for everything, which is justified most of the time. Not all engine builders are thorough and lifter bores are easily overlooked.
