Confirmation of OEM engines
is there a resource on this site, or elsewhere, that can confirm the serial numbers of the engines originally put in my '85 Commander 360? There are the 7.4L Mercruiser 340s, but I'm wondering if I can confirm they are the originals. The Mariner's Museum CC records only went to 1982.

Just wanting to confirm the engines and transmissions are original to the boat. Like a corvette, numbers match is important (to me).
