1967 31' - seller states the boat had been painted using Imron by previous owner (20+) years ago. Finish appears dull. I have no knowledge regarding Imron. Can Imron paint be restored to its original luster?
I recall but can't find info on swapping out distributors on certain 327s. This boat has 327Fs.
Any help is appreciated.

Here's an easy trial method. Get a can of 3M Fiberglass Restorer Wax. Wax and buff a 2ft-2ft area. when it is almost dry, buff and polish off the excess. If your test area shines back up you are good to go!
It frustrates me how some people fail to maintain their boat cosmetics. It devalues a boat by more than half. The finish all depends on the condition your boat was in subject to the climate it is exposed to.
Left in the Florida Sun for 20 years? It's TOAST!
