Thank you.

Hey all, I'm in Michigan and looking for a half decent trailer to put my 27 on. I want something road worthy but I don't care if it's pretty and I'm not afraid of re-wiring
My 27 single sits on a Venture 2 axle galvanized steel bunk trailer rated at 9200 pounds. Handles the boat easily. They are out there.
In search of owner I have a copy of the first page of the invoice for the Hull # FFA-42-0001F dated 07-02-75. And an original brochure from 1975. Contact me if of interest. email legrandfromage@comcast.net

These cockpit steps were commonly made by Garelick Eez-in. Checking their current catalog it appears they are discontinued. They still sell the keyhole brackets that attached them to the coaming. West Marine has two different sizes on their website, maybe they still have stock: https://www.westmarine.com/garelick-cockpit-steps-P005_158_002_007.html?srsltid=AfmBOop7Q09LkFtGk1rNlxBv7fQ1MH85_KNFaLisBQt22YKSrLZ9DPK1
MarQuipt has them on their website https://marquipt.com/products/cockpit-steps/

I am looking for the hardware that goes to the folding handrails. I have the smaller rails (not 2-3/8” wide). I need the folding wood sections, folding bracket, male and female receiver opposite the hinge.
I would also take the 2-3/8” hardware if it were full sets for port and starboard sides.
Message me if you have any leads.
Thank you,
Dr Greg

Hi - in search of replacement dials for a 1968 Commander 31. Seeking triple style ampres, oil pressure and temp but would consider anything in reasonable condition, based in UK. Thanks in advance for any offers

Dear Commander Community,
First, thank you for being the stewards of these fine boats.
We are interested in pursuing the purchase of a 55 or 60ft. Commander.
We would prefer a later production 55 with the enclosed aft deck but would consider all 55 or 60 foot commanders.
We currently own and operate a 1972 Huckins 53 Corinthian which we love but we still lust for the larger Commanders.
Please feel free to text or call us at (616) 914-9303.
The Spring 2025 issue of the Chris-Craft Commander Club's twice yearly newsletter, Styled In Fiberglass, features two long investigative articles about the 60' Commanders!! I briefly owned a 55' (faa 55-035-F which is no longer in service) click here for the articles about the 60's HERE:
Looking for a 34-38’ Chris Craft commander or similar. Located on the Long Island sound. Willing to travel for the right boat.

Thank you!
I have a 38” 1969 Commander with 2005 twin 315hp Yanmar turbo diesels and a Westerbeke diesel generator. New most everything in 2005 but as always needs more work. Transom door and teak swim platform. Long way from NY as it lives in San Francisco.

I need the circuit diagram from the ~1966 service manual for my Kohler Generator. Bottle of scotch for help on this one. I'm trying to upgrade the old controller with a Deep Blue digital controller, but my service tech needs the original circuit diagram. If you have access to a manual I can buy/copy/borrow, please call or text me.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Char,
I'm working all you suggestions. May find out this week if your diagram fits my generator. I'll keep you posted. You're the best. Thanks, Mike
I purchased this boat last fall and it has nothing for a captains chair. What would you recommend? Does anyone have anything for sale or know where I could find something?
Thank you,
Steven,
This is what was traditionally used if the boat didn't come with the factory seating with storage/bar:
From what I have seen there was always a lanyard fitted to the seat bottom that went down to hook on to a pad eye on the deck to prevent the chair from flopping around.
This is the jetson style chrome anchor/steaming light that sits atop the mast on Commanders around 1977.
If so, respond back or call me. Thanks!

I dont remember exactly which page but if you search "free cheap project boats" you get about 25 pages to check out. I'm on about 10 of those so it must have been one of those.
If you have a set please let me know!
Thanks!

still looking for an owners manual for my gen set if anyone has any info I would be grateful
Thanks Brian
After jumping through hoops with the PA Fish and Boat Commission, I was finally able to get the 360 Commander we purchased titled and registered in PA; to find out they registered it as a 1982 Chris Craft verse a 1983 which was on the previous Title from owner/Michigan; after reaching out to my State Rep and in turn speaking with the PA Fish and Boat; they explained that the Hull ID should be 12 numbers with the last dictating the year of the boat; they further stated they would not change it; before I go back to the notary and take up further issue I wanted to see if anyone had additional information.

Long ago, I saw an old Chris Craft ad with an approximately 9 to 10 foot wooden Chris Craft Dingy. Would anyone be aware of where one could find plans to build a similar one?
It would need to be kept out of the weather. It is a wee bit tippy. I’ve used it with as much as a 15 hp. It’s very solid and rides great. The plans came from the link below. It’s made from mahogany marine plywood and solid oak. I would say it weighs more than the plans say. Maybe 150 pounds

Wanted, starboard (long) strut for a 1968 Chris Craft Commander 42. Or would anyone have a casting number. I called Algonac Cast Products Inc. With my number. They said that isn't there number. My number is 4961 4 and is stamped in.
Continuing the starboard number is17 424 the are spares for my 1971 42 Sport Cruiser
This is for an ‘84 410 Starboard windshield actuator. I’m sure it could be many yrs and models.
The cover is very thin plastic(tan in color) and is 5x5x9 w/4 mounting screws
Earl @ Marine sales does NOT have the item.
Some of you may have made one out of wood and I’d like any ideas or drawings you may have for that possibly also.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
I am looking for rudders from a 1970s 47 commander. The information I have is that there were three generations of Rudders used on these boats. The first being the smallest, second medium, and the third the largest. I believe mine has the smallest and the performance as well as just looking at it me lead me to believe that it is way too small for this boat.
Glenn,
I have a contact here in Kentucky who might have the rudders you're looking for. Do you have a phone number where he might reach out to you?

I have a 1979 410 commander and am in need of the rear most cabin windows. Eather salvaged ones or a source for replacement windows. Any help would be appreciated. Thank Frank
I am not sure what they are called and I cannot find them. Does anyone know if these are still available to buy?
They are the little chrome plated brass switch label bezel washer things as seen in the pic below.
Thanks for helping!
