I have a 1988 Chris-Craft 422 Commander.
the birth with the bunk beds air conditioning the fan blows but it's not cold air so I'm assuming and hoping it's just low on freon.
not sure where the unit is at and what's involved with adding freon to the system as far as tools or any other information needed to see if that was the problem and I now have cold air. hoping this is fairly easy versus one of those fixes that have fun doing that.
any information is greatly appreciated.

I have a 1988 Chris-Craft 422 Commander tournament edition. When it's not raining the hall stays bone dry if it rains hard a lot of water does come in. I know it's not coming in from any of the railing and the headliners are all original and are all perfect so there's no water coming in from there I know it's coming in from the cockpit. I high pressured all the holes that I can find and yet it still comes in when it rains hard.
Any suggestions or help or tips is most appreciated.
Thanks Kent

Through a deal I picked up a 1988 Chris-Craft Commander 422 tournament edition.
I have yet to take it out but I've started it many times. Now I cannot get it to turn over when I say not turn over I mean nothing at all happens.
The batteries I have in it are fully charged. But I did change one out just to make sure.
The switch is on the breaker panel are turned on for the engines and the red lights on the instrument panel come on.
Today they both started to turn over then it stopped and they're back to nothing happening at all.
Any ideas or suggestion at all is most appreciated
Thanks

This Commander will be available March 1st as it is at the tail end of a restoration
The boat's been completely repainted with alexseal paint.
The stripes have been changed to black with gold trim. The headliner throughout the yacht is all original and it's a 10. All the wood on the inside is original and it's all near perfect
It's powered by twin Detroit 671's which the port side has been rebuilt and has 270 hours and the other engine has 700 original hours so these are extremely low time diesel engines.
The cockpit is wrapped in teakwood which has been recoated with seven coats of alwood finish.
The boat will be hauled out within the next two weeks to have the bottom painted and any blisters removed.
I've used a stock 422 Commander picture but this is the exact same boat and it does have the tuna Tower.
This Commander is located in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I will have original photos of the inside up within the next 5
Days.
I understand people like the center councils for the speed but to me this is a true fishing yacht and would make a great addition to any charter fishing fleet.
You can text 843-698-6942 additional information or questions you may have.
Once completed the boat will be showroom condition. We will be asking $105,000.
