This 11" x 17" commemorative print was personally signed by Fred Hudson on February 28, 2010, during a special interview conducted for the club just months before his passing. A limited number of items were signed during that historic session, making these pieces especially meaningful to collectors and Commander enthusiasts.

Fred Hudson (1929–2010) was the legendary Chris-Craft stylist whose work helped launch the entire Commander line and ultimately inspired the formation of the Chris-Craft Commander Club itself. While naval architect Bill Macerer designed the hull of the groundbreaking 38' Express, Hudson created the boat’s distinctive topside appearance, interior layout, and overall styling, giving the Express its unmistakable profile and enduring appeal. The success of the 38' Express established the design language that would define the Commander series for decades to come.

As Chief Stylist for Chris-Craft Industries from 1960 to 1964, Hudson was responsible for the styling and design of the 1964 38' Express Fiberglass Chris-Craft Commander, the model regarded as the beginning of the Commander era.
