Lee, thank you for your insight. The coverage I got for my boat is $1,000,000 worth of liability only. I’ve been self ensuring the Hull Value for many years now. BTW, I think I remember you being in the boat transporting business. I have a need to ship my car from New York to Florida. It seems there are many car transport scammers out there and I was wondering if you could recommend any legitimate car transport companies. Thanks, Tim G..
@Tim Gressett I would shy away from brokers like Uship. I would go with a known Car transporter. There are a few nationally known carriers. Uship simply finds someone with a truck and trailer but does not provide credentials for them before pickup.
