Okay... I'm looking for some ideas...
All of our boats (I'm talking about the '64-'72 varieties at a minimum) have side windows that when closed, overlap. this usually leaves anywhere from 3/4" to 2" of overlapped glass that has a very small (what, 1/16" or 1/8") gap. So... two things for everyone out there...
How do you clean in there so ensure the overlapping glass is nice and clean?
Does anyone us anything (and what) to close that gap and prevent bugs from coming in? At night we tend to drop our curtains and turn the lights down but if the light is not low enough, eventually we get some flying friends that want to join in our fun... making it not so fun.
Thanks in advance for your ideas/remedies!

maybe try googling glass channel or sliding window channel to see if there are options
