Seems like a ridiculous question about set screws on the bow rail where the rail fits into the vertical. One came out and is gone. I got a stainless steel assortment to replace it and maybe others. The 1/4"x20 starts to thread in ok but tightens up way before going all the way in. I can't imagine a metric size is right. Does anyone know if it is a specific or special size Chris used? If not I may try rethreading it at 1/4x20
Thanks
John
Hi John... can you take a pic of it? I think you have the wrong size, but if it's anything like my 1967 42, I have a whole list of the fasteners needed - I replaced all of mine two years ago when I replaced by toe rail and had everything rechromed. I just want to be sure the hardware is the same...

Better yet... here is a list of all the fasteners needed for my project (with links on where to order online if you can't find what you need at your local hardware store. You'll see bow rail items in there (items T and U in the list)... looks like if it's not 1/4 20, then it'd be 10-24.

Hi Chris,
Wow, that is a nice list of hardware. May answer another of my questions. I will take a couple photos just to be sure. I have a couple rusted screws in the lifeline fasteners up front.
Thanks
John
