I Agree that a small bit of new fiberglass is i good idea to add.

Regardless of weather you glass from inside, outside or both, its important to properly grind the area before adding glass.

Its good practice to grind a bowl shaped area with ground zero of the repair being at the bottom .

Be sure to grind out any fractures stemming from the hole as they will showing the finish if not.

Being that these are just small holes , it would be perfectly acceptable to build up the new glass simply with layers of CSM (CHOPPED STRAND MATT) its best to stick with polyester or vinyl Ester resin since most the binder in most CSM is not compatible with epoxy and since gel coat itself is a poly coating.

Before attempting to make a gel coat math , its good practice to first polish the area souronding the repair to help expose the true color You need to match.

Just a thought... im a hot rod nut... and maybe cc rated their HP at the prop...like today's automotive engine builders they have the machine they put the rear tires on... and they simulate the vehicle on the track... but the major auto companies rate theirs at the block... to give the public a fake hp... since the engine creates a larger HP cause everytime you add a component to the vehicle it takes away some of the engine hp.... so cc let's the buyers know that the HP rating is a real thing...... just a thought...
