"Earl the Pearl!" Video and discussion.
This video was posted a few years ago, there is such and interesting history with this character!Imagine a secret boat parts treasure house that had every boat part, every boat item, you ever needed to not only build your pocket trawler but restore your free classic fiberglass sailboat. Just outside Detroit Michigan in Harrison Township is Marine Sales & Repair Inc., and the oldest and one of the few remaining boat junkmen. His name is Earl “the Pearl” Stilson and he sells boat parts. From old Chris Craft parts, to vintage Hercules diesel engines, to teak handrails, and bronze fittings, Earl has every hard to find antique boat part. Erl is a real “Gem.” If you ever dreamed of owning a used boat parts shop this is real boat motivation for any amateur boat builder or boat restorer. ✅To Contact Earl the Pearl, please visit: Earl the Pearl Marine Sales & Repair, Inc. This post made me so happy, great memories! Lost my father in January- he was a frequent visitor to Earl the Pearl back when we had our first boat together, a 1964 sea skiff. I'm going to look at a commander tomorrow as my first potential boat without my dad as a partner and am hoping to find some helpful support in this group as I go it alone!
