A National Rendezvous is a gathering of club members and their beloved Commanders. It is a great place to see some beautiful boats, make new friends and catch-up with old friends. It is always interesting to see what is different on the same model boat and a great place to get ideas, tips & tricks.
If you would like to host a rendezvous, the Executive Committee will assist you with ideas, registration, and anything else you might need.
If your marina, or a marina near you, could house additional boats for a weekend and if you have several Commanders in your area, we encourage you to consider hosting a rendezvous.
See Rendezvous History for details of previous events.
National Rendezvous Guidelines
The “Application of Interest” is designed to assist you in determining whether your area of interest is a destination that is easy to get to by plane/car, has ample accommodations (hotels/motels), adequate eateries and, of course, Commanders for attendees to enjoy. Some rendezvous have had as few as 10 boats and as many as 60. It also helps us with our decision making.
The local host committee makes recommendations on marina, hotels, meals, local attractions. You are our representatives on site and do the leg work. The Executive Committee works right along with you via e-mail and conference calls. We do all the registration and payment details.
If you need assistance completing the application or have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Char Pike. She has been involved with and has hosted previous rendezvous. Char will be happy to assist you in any way possible. Char Pike rendezvous.commanderclub@gmail.com
