I've seen the work of, and worked with, all of the most reputable canvas shops here in South Florida, including the ones that do the work for multi-million jobs at LMC (Lauderdale Marine Center) and other top 1% performers in the business. And I have to say, the quality of the work done on my 41 Commander, which I've owned for three years, still astounds me. It was done by the owner previous to the one I bought it from, so it is easily 8-9 years old, and it has been put through the paces. The stitching still holds, the snaps are all in place and close and open fine, the zippers are still good (of course, I silicon spray them every couple of months), but the most amazing thing is the fit/size. Never have I seen such perfect fit. The aft deck/cockpit enclosure panels are neither a little too short or a bit too long, nor are they loose or tight when zippered together. They just fit, simple as that. Come wind or rain, they hold in place, no flapping or bulging. And the same goes for every other piece. I don't know these people, never talked to them, but if you're after truly top notch work, I would recommend contacting them. American craftmanship lives on with them.
