I am trying to locate the Anti Syphon valve on my '86 315 commander. I opened the access hatch over the center to expose the 2 tank senders and pick up tubes. I expected to find the ASV on the end of the pick up tube but none there. Is it possible that because the fuel lines are on top of the tanks that there is no valve? Any and all help is appreciated. Thank You.

Captain Russ ...... The anti-syphon device is not at the bottom of the fuel pick up tube . You may have it inside the fuel tank at the top threaded brass fitting that has a brass carb jet about .oo7 size . If not inside the tank then you have an external device that is a ball and spring design installed in the fuel line .

To clarify, I have no ASV at the top exterior of the pick up tube. Is it possible to have an ASV inside the tank at the top of the pick up tube?
Thanks Tim. I'll pull the tube and check it out.
Captain Russ ..... If the anti-syphon device is" inside the tank " it would be a small brass carb jet screwed into the side of the brass fuel line fitting about .007 in size at the "inside roof "of the fuel tank . A very neat and non clogging design from that era .
