Specification

"Marklinda" is a 1966 27' Express. This is hull # FXA-27-2035-H. She is a 1966 Commander Express with Hard-top. Originally she had a single 327F for power. We replaced that with a 350 12 years ago. As this was raw water cooled it needs to be replaced again. A leak developed in the manifold and flooded a cylinder. Canvas needs to be replaced and the forward windows (above the v-berth) need attention. Boat has new exhaust manifolds, hoses and mufflers( 2 yrs. old) New Edlebrock Marine 4 bbl carb. (1 yr. old) New glassed in shaft log and stuffing box(1 yr. old. She has a teak swim platform, a new mahogany control panel with Teleflex gauges( 2 yrs. old).I have a new 1100 GPH Rule bilge pump never installed. Windshield wiper motor(2 yrs.old) Standard Horizon VHF(3 yrs.old). Remote oil filter(2 yrs. old) The original porcelain direct discharge head was replaced with porta-potti(1 yr. old). It has the original 2 burner electric stove (still works). Interior cushions have been redone. Made new, not just covered. The hull is in good shape for 38 years young. Only rough spot is on the hard-top itself where the gel-coat is worn thin.
