Description: She's functional.. not fancy. She
has been my home for almost 3 years The saloon and
galley are pretty basic. I insulated the ceiling and
installed new headliner. New 20k btu a/c.
One stateroom aft, door opens to cockpit and big
windows make it very pleasant. I use the forward
cabin as a shop. Since I bought her in Nov 2006,
I have:
Replaced injector lines
Adjusted injector racks on both engines
Installed oil pan heaters each engine
removed
the rotting cockpit floor and beams and replaced
with ½ & ¾” marine ply, coated with epoxy
installed 4 new USCG approved 55 gallon poly fuel
tanks aft. These are installed in a water-tight
crib.. in effect a double-walled tank. There is
plenty of space beneath the cockpit floor for
additional tankage.
Replaced leaky copper
fuel lines with new USCG Type A-1 fuel lines and
two-stage spin-on filters
Insulated the
ceilings and most walls. She's a comfy liveaboard
New 32vdc/12vdc/120vac electrical panels
Installed four new 8vdc batteries for start/house
New 12vdc system with 2 Trojan T105 deep cycle
batteries
New 12vdc bilge pump with
high-water alarms
Replaced old copper water
lines with polybutelene water lines and manifolds
Installed 1300 gph sea water pump. This pump can
be easily plumbed as emergency bilge pump
Currently doing some exterior brighwork and other
cosmetic items.
