Specification

1969 Commander express with hard top, boat was repowered with fresh water cooled new marine power 5.7 260 hp each with Crusader exhausts and fresh water cooling system. The Velvet Borg Warner transmissions are new. The boat has had many new parts to remodel but has not been completed. The motors are from 2000 but boat has not floated with them, they were run on the hose every month except until the last several months.

 

New: fuel tanks, shafts, propellers, mounts, sea strainers, battery wiring with isolator switch, gauges, trim tabs, steering, all glass in cabin replaced with dark smoked, new boman hatch, much wood work replaced in cabin including counters, V-birth, dinette, bath finished in whiter mica, hull was re-gelcoated and bottom painted, rear deck was redone with divinisil and glass with gelcoat, new hatches made, entire deck was reinforced with aluminum I-beam structure for added strength, My intent was to be able to pull a large fish in on the deck. Very strong.

Needs finishing interior cushions, headliner, reattach hard top with wind shield have parts, batteries, rub rail, put trim back on cockpit, wood on side cap chairs, cockpit seats needed.

In excess of 30k went into this project not finished.

Located in Davie Florida near ft. Lauderdale, on jack stands. Need trailer to transport- due to illness unable to finish.

All work was performed by professionals
