Comments:
This model is
closely related to the
41
Commander. Together they had a 15 year run from
the 1971 to 1986. In those 15
years, there were many changes.
Some even quite major, but the
lines of the hull remained
substantially the same. Most of
the changes were for the better.
As for interior decor, just
about every year changed. Some
were good, some were very dated
(tiger lily sinks) padded fabric
wall covering, teak interior,
practical board tambour, you
name it, and that poor boat has
probably had it. (I think it
missed the 3" white shag
headliner in the forward cabin
that some of the late '70's
smaller CC were subjected to).
The '86 and '87 models had some
nice wood in the salon.
Great boats, but if you don't
like the interior of the one for
sale, walk to the next dock and
look at the next one! There are
lots of them out there and they
are not all the same. (Info
