Meet Your Fellow CCCC Members:

Lawrence & Jena Neisler

Lawrence & Jena currently reside in Evanston, IL. Lawrence is one of our very early members, joining CCCC in 2001. He served on the Board of Governors from 2003-2005, and then a stint on the Executive Committee from 2005-2007.

Lawrence is co-owner of Wilburn Thomas, a marketing and brand development company. Jena is Office manager for a large Chicago law firm.

They have been avid boating enthusiasts for many years, having previously owned and rehabbed some large woodies! Their first fiberglass boat was a 31 Commander, while their second and current Commander is a 1965 Commander Sedan. They bought this boat after viewing it once under a blue poly tarp in a severe winter storm, while Jena had the flu. The original 431 Lincolns lasted one year before they repowered with 8.1 Crusaders, resulting in what many consider as the fastest 38 Commander in the club. J

Their home port is Michigan City, IN, where Lawrence was co-chairman of the clubs 2005 Cruise & Rendezvous. Lawrence originally comes from Peoria, IL where he owns 40 acres of forest land with his brother-in-law (and hunting partner). Hunting is another of Lawrence's passions, both with bow& arrow and rifles. When work, their Commander, & hunting doesn't keep him fully occupied, he's been known to "mess around" with antique motorcycles !! Jena uses Lawrence's other diversions as an excuse to stay home for a weekend and take a breather !
