With so many local Commanders and members in the area, this rendezvous is sure to be one of the best yet. We look forward to seeing new faces and old friends at the event.

Marketplace for Used Parts

The Executive Committee is proud to reintroduce a marketplace for selling and buying used parts and accessories for Chris Craft Commanders and other general boating equipment that could be of interest to Commander owners. The new marketplace is available at our Yahoo Discussion Forum.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The marketplace is open to all members.
    It is free of charge.

  • You post your ad yourself and you can update it any time you like.

  • You can also post an ad for things you want to buy or even give away.

So why do you check your garage for parts you no longer need and post an ad to get some cash.

Ads for boats for sale remains at here commanderclub.com like it has always been. To post a boat for sale ad send you ad transcript and photos to admin@commanderclub.com

SuperDisk Information

The SuperDisk 6.0 Complete Edition and the Resource Collection Volume 1 can now be ordered directly from the Chris Craft Commander Club. These will no longer be available from the DockShop.
The SuperDisk 6.0 Upgrade Edition is no longer available.

The reason for this new way of providing the immensly popular SuperDisk to our members is a change in our shop operator CafePress' service level agreement. All other articles in the DockShop are still available as usual.

New Executive Committee Members

Dick Morland has accepted the the position as Chief Commander, replacing retired Scott Anderson. Michael Schrage is the club's new treasurer, replacing retired Lyn Orphal. Current membership Chairman Whitney Pillsbury moves over to Public Relations Chairman, replacing retired Rob Cutchins, and Marcia Elkins is our new Membership Chairman.

Member of the month: Mike Forrester

Member of The Month is a monthly article published here at CommanderClub.com. We started out last month with Lawrence and Jena Neisler. In February we are featuring Mike Forrester and Barbara Purrington, living in Seattle.

Commander Events

Part of the fun of owning a Commander is to gather with fellow members and enthusiasts. To make it easier to get in contact with others to arrange a raft-up, a meet or an informal flotilla cruise we put together an Events page. It will help you find events coming as well as tell people about your arrangement.

Commander Website at Your Service

This website design was created by none less than your faithful Commander Club Webmaster. How appropriate that I own a 31´Commander named Web Commander! Little did I realize that I would one day be webmaster of the Club when I bought the boat on the net in 1998, but that's another story.

Please let me know what you think of the site. Suggestions are highly appreciated! Drop me a mail or call me at Skype ID: alarikvonhofsten
