Chris Craft Commander Club Award of Distiction

In recognition of dedication to the promotion and preservation of the Chris Craft Commander line of pleasure craft.
Eligibility: Any individual or business whose actions have had a positive influence on the Commander line of pleasure craft. Candidates do not have to be Commander Club members. More than one could be presented in a year. Honorees are selected by The Executive Committee at various times throughout the year. The award is a framed certificate presented at the annual rendezvous or mailed to recipient.

2007 Award of Distinction Winners

Lawrence Neisler
August 2007, for serving on the Executive Committee as Membership Chair.

Dwain Watkins
March 2007, for cruising over 102,702 statute miles during the past 44 years. Mr. Watkins completed this with four Chris Craft boats. A 1960 33' Roamer, a 1962 37' tricabin, a 1960 55' Connie and finally a 1970 55' Commander.

2008 Award of Distinction Winners

Byron and Mimi Smith
October, 2008, Byron and Mimi are hosts of the 2008 Commander Club rendezvous. In addition Byron has been an active contributor to our message board with his challenges and successes in restoring his 42 Commander. Also presented with a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant.

Greg Gajcak
October 2008, Greg's restoration of his 35 Commander has been well documented in our club postings. Greg willingly shares his experiences, expertise.

2009 Award of Distinction Winners

Eileen Powers and Fred Delavan July 2009, for hosting the 2009 Chesapeake Bay Rendezvous. Also presented with a Commander Club burgee.	Tim Gressett or sharing his experiences and expertise.
Scott Anderson July 2009 for sharing his love of Commanders, his experiences and expertise.	Rick Traskos or sharing his experiences and expertise.

Matt O'Donnell August 2010, in recognition and appreciation of your continued support and dedication to the members and mission of the Chris Craft Commander Club by hosting the 2010 rendezvous.
