Coming: Whitney Pillsbury
Lawrence’s departure from the Executive
Committee left us with an opening that was not too hard to fill.
Expressing to several current Executive Committee members a desire
to become more involved in the operations of the Chris Craft
Commander Club, Whitney Pillsbury was a likely and quality choice to
fill the vacancy left by Lawrence Neisler.
His long standing commitment to the mission of
the Chris Craft Commander Club yielded unanimous approval when put
before the Executive Committee for their vote for a new Membership
Chairman.
Whitney lives in New Jersey, has been a member
of the club since June of 2000, and is the owner of a 1966 38
Express.
As many of you know, Whitney is an active
member on the forum, and played a key role in the creation of
our current logo. Please
help me in welcoming Whitney to the Executive Committee. We look
forward to him putting his creative mind to work and continuing to
help the club evolve.

Leaving: Lawrence Neisler
After a long and helpful
tenure, first as a member of the Board of Governors,
and then serving as the Membership Chairman,
Lawrence Neisler has decided to step down from his
position on the Executive Committee of the Chris
Craft Commander Club.
Citing the increasing success
of his business (no doubt due to his attention to
detail and great personality), Lawrence’s free time
has become extremely limited.
Lawrence has been a member
since January 2001, and has been part of the
governing body of this club since 2003. I would
personally like to thank Lawrence for his
contributions to the club over the years, and I am
sure I am not alone in saying that I look forward to
his continued contributions on the forum in the
future.
Sincerely,
Chris Orphal
Chief Commander
Chris Craft Commander Club
